On the left of our Firmness Factor scale, we have our 1/5 rating: Cloudlike. Comprising our most sumptuous, deep-seated sofas that you can sink right into and never want to leave. Sofas in our Cloudlike rating include our Lounge and Laurel ranges, engineered for enveloping softness and comfort. We characterise this rating by its luxuriously boneless appeal, contrasting the firmer sofas higher on the scale.
2/5 - Pillowy
Next up, one step into firmer territory is the “pillowy” rating, firmness factor 2/5. We consider sofas with this rating to have a similar appeal to their cloudlike counterparts, but with a little more structure. Some examples include our Galloway and Diana ranges. If you want something sumptuous but aren't keen on a completely cloudlike lounging experience and don't want to stray too far into firm territory, this rating sounds perfect for you.
