How to Choose the Right 3 Seater Sofa

What Size Is a 3 Seater Sofa?

A standard 3 seater sofa is usually between 190cm and 230cm wide, and most of the 3 seater sofas in our range are between 200cm and 249cm. Check the width and depth on each product page, and use the width filter above to narrow down your options. Remember to measure doorways, hallways and stairs on the delivery route, as well as the wall where the sofa will sit.

Will a 3 Seater Sofa Fit in My Living Room?

A popular guideline is the 2/3 rule: your sofa should take up around two thirds of the length of the wall it sits against. Leave enough space to walk around the sofa and for a coffee table in front. If your room is smaller, a 2 seater sofa may be a better fit, and if you need a 4 seater or 5 seater layout, a corner sofa could be the answer.

There is no real difference. Settee is simply another name for a sofa, so a three seater settee and a three seater sofa are the same thing.
