Corner Sofas and Chaise Sofas

A corner sofa makes the most of an L-shaped layout and gives the whole family room to stretch out, while a chaise sofa adds an extended seat for putting your feet up in a smaller space. Choose from modular corner sofas, U-shaped sofas and left or right hand facing chaise designs in our corner sofas collection.

2 Seater Sofas

A 2 seater sofa is a compact sofa that is perfect for smaller living rooms, snugs and flats, or as a partner to a larger sofa. Browse our 2 seater sofas, including static and 2 seater recliner designs.

3 Seater and 4 Seater Sofas

A 3 seater sofa is one of the most popular seating options for family living rooms, with space for everyone to sit together. Many of our 3 seater sofas are part of ranges with a matching 2 seater, so you can create a 3+2 sofa set. For large living rooms, a 4 seater sofa offers even more room. Browse our 3 seater sofas.

Recliner Sofas

Recliner sofas combine everyday seating with the comfort of a reclining seat, perfect for movie night. Many of our recliner sofas are power recliners, and some designs add power headrests, a console with storage or a drop-down table. Explore our full range of recliner sofas, including 2 seater recliner and 3 seater recliner designs.

Sofa Beds

A sofa bed is a space-saving solution that gives you a comfortable sofa by day and a spare bed by night, ideal for guest rooms, home offices and smaller homes. Our sofa beds include chaise sofa beds and a power-reclining sofa bed. Check the mattress size on each sofa bed product page to make sure it suits your guests.

Armchairs and Love Chairs

Complete your living room with an armchair for a cosy reading corner, a love chair that is roomier than an armchair but smaller than a 2 seater sofa, or a matching footstool.

Fabric Sofas

Most of our sofas are upholstered in fabric, from soft chenille and durable fabrics such as woven weaves to linen-style textures, with plush velvet-style finishes on selected designs. If you love the look of velvet sofas, the Aria is available in a soft velvet-style fabric. Fabric sofas feel warm and cosy and come in the widest range of fabrics and colours, from neutral tones such as beige and grey sofas to green, blue and orange. Browse all of our fabric sofas.

Leather Sofas

Leather sofas are easy to clean, so you can wipe up a spill quickly, and they develop character over time, which makes them a practical choice for busy homes, pets and young families. Browse all of our leather sofas.

How to Choose the Perfect Sofa

Size

Measure the wall where your sofa will sit and the route it will take into your home, including doorways, hallways and stairs. A popular guideline is the 2/3 rule: your sofa should take up around two thirds of the length of the wall it sits against. Use the width filter above to narrow the range, and check the width and depth on each product page.

Comfort

Do you prefer something soft and sink-in, or a firmer, more supportive seat? Many of our sofas carry a comfort rating from 1 (Cloudlike) to 5 (Firm), so you can find the right level of comfort before you buy.

Style

For clean, modern lines, look at our modular sofas and contemporary fabric designs. If you prefer classic sofas, our chesterfield-inspired designs, including the Icon, Richmond and Chester, bring the timeless look of a chesterfield sofa to any living room. A neutral sofa is easy to style with scatter cushions, while a bold colour makes a statement.

Sofa FAQs

Is it better to buy a sofa online or in store?

Both have their advantages. Buying online lets you compare our full range at your own pace, while visiting a showroom lets you test the comfort, feel the fabrics and get advice from our team. Use our store locator to find your nearest NCF Living showroom.

Are modular sofas worth it?

Modular sofas are made from separate sections that link together, which makes them easier to deliver through narrow hallways and doorways. If you move house or change your layout, a modular sofa is often easier to fit into a new space.

Which sofas work best in small spaces?

A 2 seater sofa, a compact chaise sofa or a love chair are all great choices for smaller rooms. Look for slimmer arms and raised legs to help a small space feel open, and consider a sofa bed if the room needs to double as a guest room.

How long do sofas last?

A well-made sofa with a sturdy frame and good-quality upholstery can last for many years with the right care. Plump and rotate your seat cushions regularly, and every NCF Living sofa comes with our Lifetime Sofa Guarantee, which covers the structural frame, subject to terms and conditions.

Can I buy a sofa on finance?

Yes. You can spread the cost with up to 36 months 0% interest-free credit on orders of £1,750 or more, subject to status. Find out more about our finance options, and take a look at our sale for the latest offers.

How quickly can you deliver my sofa?

Many of our sofas are available for fast UK delivery. See our delivery details for current timescales.
